Any Parishioner who wishes to marry should contact a parish priest at least six months prior to the desired date. (Do not reserve a place for the wedding reception until you reserve a day and time for the church wedding.)
Please review our wedding policy below. It contains all of the information about celebrating a wedding liturgy at St. Michael the Archangel parish.
If you were married in a civil ceremony and wish to sacramentalize the marriage, please contact one of our priests or our deacon.
If you are planning to celebrate a 25th or 50th anniversary, you should contact the parish office well in advance of the desired date.
Due to the large size of our parish, at least one (either the bride or the groom) must be a parishioner in order to be married at Saint Michael the Archangel Parish. To be considered a parishioner, you must be a REGISTERED AND ACTIVE member of Saint Michael the Archangel Parish for at least one year. The only exception is if the bride or groom’s parents or grandparents are LIVING, REGISTERED, AND ACTIVE members of the parish. Example: If you join the parish on January 10, 2024, you can call the parish on January 10, 2025 (not before) to book a date and start the wedding process.
For the sake of clarity and definition, an “active, registered member of Saint Michael the Archangel Parish” is understood to be a practicing Catholic who has been registered, involved and contributing member of the parish for at least one year prior to the reservation of a date for a wedding. There are no exceptions.
